Terms of Service

1. Who we are

OTSEC.IO L.L.C-FZ ("OTSEC", "we", "us"), registered in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, operates this website and the OT Cybersecurity Professional Training course. By using the site or purchasing the course, you agree to these terms.

2. The course

The OT Cybersecurity Professional Training is an on-demand video course based on the book How to be OT Cybersecurity Professional by Nebras Alqurashi (Austin Macauley Publishers).

  • Access duration: 12 months from the date of purchase or code redemption.
  • Completion: A lesson is considered completed when at least 95% of the video has been viewed. The course is considered completed when all lessons are completed.
  • Certificate: A certificate of completion is issued automatically upon course completion, in the legal name you supply on your profile.
  • Updates: We may add, remove, or modify lessons during your access period. We will not materially reduce the scope of what you bought.

3. Pricing & payment

Price is listed on the training page and shown again at checkout. Payments are processed through PayPal. We accept the payment methods PayPal accepts (PayPal balance, credit cards, debit cards) in supported regions.

4. Refunds

See our refund policy — 3-day money-back guarantee, self-service.

5. Multi-seat licenses & codes

  • When you buy multiple seats, we generate one redemption code per seat. Each code is single-use.
  • You may distribute codes inside your organization or have us email them directly to recipients.
  • Each redeemed code creates an account tied to the redeeming email. The 12-month access period starts at redemption, not at purchase.
  • You may not resell codes for profit. Bulk reseller agreements are available — contact us.

6. Discount codes

We may issue discount or free-access codes from time to time. Codes are non-transferable, non-stackable, and have the terms (validity period, single/multi-use, eligibility) attached to the specific code. We may invalidate codes if they're abused.

7. Free-access accounts

We may grant free access to selected individuals (students, partners, community contributors). Free accounts default to 3 months of access and may be extended or revoked at our discretion.

8. Acceptable use

The course content (videos, slides, downloads, written material) is licensed for your personal use only. You may not:

  • Re-stream, re-host, or re-distribute course videos.
  • Share your account credentials with others.
  • Download videos via screen capture or extraction tools and redistribute them.
  • Use automated scraping to harvest content.

Violations result in immediate account termination without refund and may trigger legal action.

9. Intellectual property

All course content, the OTSEC brand, the site design, and the underlying code are owned by OTSEC.IO L.L.C-FZ. The book How to be OT Cybersecurity Professional is published by and copyrighted under the agreement with Austin Macauley Publishers.

10. Limitation of liability

The course is educational material. We do our best to keep it accurate and current, but you are responsible for how you apply the knowledge in your own engagements. We are not liable for incidents, losses, or damages arising from your professional decisions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTSEC's total liability to you for any claim relating to the course is limited to the amount you paid for it.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time; the refund policy governs whether you are entitled to money back.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the DIFC courts.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email to active accounts at least 30 days before they take effect.
