Refund Policy

The short version

If you buy the OTSEC Cybersecurity Professional Training course and within 3 calendar days decide it isn't for you, click the Request refund button in your account. We'll refund the full purchase amount to your original payment method and revoke your access. No email back-and-forth, no asking why.

Eligibility

  • Time window: The refund request must be submitted within 3 calendar days (72 hours) of the purchase timestamp.
  • Original purchaser only: Refunds are issued to the account and payment method that made the purchase. Codes redeemed by other people on a multi-seat order are not eligible — see the multi-seat section below.
  • One refund per customer: If you've previously bought, refunded, and re-purchased, a second refund is at our discretion.

How to request a refund

  1. Sign in to your OTSEC account.
  2. Go to Account → Billing.
  3. Click Request refund on the relevant purchase.
  4. Confirm. Your access is revoked immediately and a refund is initiated to your payment method.

Refunds typically settle in 3–10 business days, depending on PayPal and your bank.

Multi-seat purchases

For multi-seat (team) purchases, the 3-day window starts from the order timestamp. If any of the seats have been redeemed and used (more than a single sign-in, or more than 10 minutes of video watched), the order is no longer refundable in full. We'll refund the unused seats pro-rata.

Free-access and granted accounts

Accounts granted free access (scholarships, partner programs, complimentary seats) have no monetary refund — there was no payment. We can revoke or extend grants at our discretion.

Coupons and discounts

Refunds are calculated on the amount actually paid, including any coupon discount applied at checkout. If a coupon is single-use, it does not become reusable after a refund.

After the refund window

Outside the 3-day window, all purchases are final. We don't offer pro-rata refunds for partial-year cancellations. If you need a different arrangement (e.g., your employer needs to reassign a seat), email hello@otsec.io and we'll look at it case by case.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or PayPal instead of using the self-service refund button, your account will be permanently banned. Please just click the button — it's faster for both of us.
